LAWSUIT DETAILS

Please READ this document if management has cut your lawn, charged you for it, or put you on a month-to-month lease and charged you without notifying you, or if you have been forced to pay for other things you believe are unfair or not tied to your lease, you may be eligible to join a lawsuit against this company and this manager at no charge to you! Lawn signs read, “Mow by Tuesday.” That includes Tuesday and still they charged people and cut grass on Tuesdays. Now it’s changed to Monday. We have proof to use against them.

I personally own a mobile home here in Golden Triangle. The residents here seem great and past management has treated me well. I have been praised for the beauty of my lot by both neighbors, strangers, and management here. However, if you’re like me, you’ve had the unfortunate luck of meeting our new manager, Ana Lara-Carrillo. Ms. Carrillo is a tyrant, a dictator, and a bully. She has zero empathy for residents of this community and took on this position with an iron fist. She came in pushing rules, agenda, and collecting unwarranted fees from residents. Most people I have talked to do not like this manager, whatsoever.

Despite my grass ALWAYS being cut, clean, and well kempt, Ms. Carrillo feels the need to come onto my property without my knowledge to cut my grass and then charge me. She attempts to bend misleading “policy” in her favor to make money charging me, and perhaps you, to allow for Golden Triangle to make money.

These claims are FALSE and without merit and I will not stand by and live like this. I have taken on an attorney who is interested in helping anyone here dealing with the same problem. And if you’ve had to deal with Daisy Lozano, Field Manager, you have dealt with the same negative attitude as delivered from this current manager.

If you have been wronged, stand with me to get this corrected. Let’s get our money back and send Yes Communities a message to get rid of this manager.

The lease states the following:

“The lawn should be kept clean, with grass cut, trimmed, fertilized, watered, and weeded to maintain a well-cared for appearance. There shall be no trash or debris in the patio areas or under the deck or home. YES may, after notice, perform site maintenance on Resident’s space and bill Resident for this service, with payment due three days after billing.”

It does not indicate a length and clearly indicates that if your lawn is kept clean and trimmed, etc, you are good to go. This does not give management the right to show up, cut your grass and to charge you. If they have done so AND have not contacted you, they have also violated the above lease statement.

I am seeking my money back for charges, damages, and much more and encourage you to join the fight. I simply will not live like this, nor would I expect any of you to. Rules like the above rule are intended for people who do not take care of their yards. Using vague language such as “Mow by Tuesday” on signs also does not set a specific time for grass to be mowed. It does not read, "Mow before Tuesday,” which means it should inclusive of and during the entire day Tuesday.

Start by checking your statements! Check to see if you have been charged for lawn maintenance. If you feel they should NOT have cut your grass and charged you, you likely have a claim. Additionally, check if you were charged a month-to-month lease. If they charged you an additional $50 per month rent and didn’t notify you or if you had signed online or weren’t ever contacted online, you may have an additional claim.

We have a right to live here peacefully and to live without tyranny, bullying, or unnecessary fees being charged, or management showing up unannounced. Nobody wants to look over their shoulder. I encourage you to join the fight to make this stuff STOP. Thank you for your time.
